GIRLS’ UNDER 8s TOURNAMENT RULES
- The Festival is non-competitive – no winners or losers – all players will receive a medal.
- Squad size 10, with 5 playing
- Opposition must retreat to halfway for goal kicks
- Back passes are allowed
- Size 3 football
- Match duration: 12 mins
- All players must wear shin-pads
- All games will be refereed by a qualified referee – please respect all of our referees
- Roll-on/off subs
- Players are allowed in the area
- No overhead rule (i.e. the ball can go overhead)
- All games will be preceded by a coin toss for choice of ends
- Goalies can kick the ball from hands if the ball is in play
- Goal kicks off the floor
- Corners and throw-ins as normal
- Please ensure matches kick off at the published time – no earlier or later
- Please put all litter in the bin bags provided
